Gail literally saved my wedding! After receiving my wedding dress from another dress maker, I realised it needed a lot of work done to the skirt to help make it sit right on me. With only a few weeks to spare, Gail fitted me in (on top of all her other clients) and I’m so grateful to her. She was kind, professional and really knew what she was doing. She turned a ‘nice’ high street branded dress into an unrecognisable, beautifully fitting gown that looked like it had come straight out the pages of a designer bridal magazine! “What can I say? Gail was an absolute pleasure to work with! She helped adjust my wedding dress that a previous seamstress had worked on but I still needed further adjustments to.
My initial appointment we chatted and discussed what needed doing to my dress and Gail explained exactly what she would be doing (without any technical jargon that some people can use) which I appreciated. It’s always nice knowing what’s going to be happening, especially with an item like a wedding dress. She gave me a time frame and price and I was on my way.
I just collected my dress today and it is perfect! I can now move my arms in my dress, which I couldn’t do previously, and the minor bits that needed doing were all sorted.
Gail is a wonderful seamstress and a lovely person. Very reasonably priced for the work that she does and I feel I will definitely stay in touch as we had some lovely chats together.

“What an experience I will never forget. First of all I want to thank Gail for not only fitting me in with a short time span but making me feel welcomed, relaxed and feel like a million dollars. I was so nervous and had a challenge of a dress for Gail but once I walked through her door it all went away and I felt a weight lift of my shoulders. I knew straight away my dress was in good hands. Gail not only made sure the dress fit perfectly, but she also went above and beyond to make it my own. When trying on the dress there was a few things I wanted to change, some parts were a bit boring. Gail worked her magic and used other parts of the dress to get the design I wanted. Gail would show me at the dress fittings what she had in mind and would show me how it would look before doing any work making sure I was happy. I never once had to decline because everything Gail had done was everything I wanted.
Moving onto my shoes. I had just plain white leather heels. The shoes I wanted were not going to arrive on time which Gail new I was gutted about, my amazing fairy godmother was not going to let me leave sad and actually used the parts she had removed of my dress (which would have been thrown away) and sewed them onto my shoes, Gail then allowed me to chose some swoski crystals to stick them on making my own diamanté design which again made them my own and wow they are stunning! I felt that the shoes had been made for this dress as it all went perfect together. For all the hard work and care Gail put into my dress and shoes and me I was shocked at the price, no where else would have been as generous with the price as Gail. It was more than affordable. I wanted to pay Gail more for her work but the lovely lady wouldn’t accept. So she got a tip, flowers and champagne because she deserved it all. Gail put her heart and soul into my dress, shoes and me. I will recommend Gail to all my friends and family. Thankyou again Gail for all you have done, I will look at my something blue and think of you on my big day❤”
